Location

The location of Los Geranios would be hard to beat, just 300 metres from the attractive Marina and beach at Puerto Colon in the newer area on the western side of Playa de las Americas.

The location is very convenient, being 2 minutes walk to the San Eugenio shopping centre with the large Mercadona supermarket, 2 minutes down to the beaches and walking distance to numerous restaurants.

Taxis are not really necessary as the local buses are clean, efficient and can take you to most parts of the island.  Bus stop is 2 mins away and taxi rank just around the corner.

Although the complex is in a good central position for many bars and
restaurants in the area, drinks on the balcony make a pleasant change if you feel like staying in after a day in the sun.

The studio apartment  is situated with the balcony overlooking the sea and harbour, a perfect place to sit and watch the amazing sunsets.

              Activities

• Tenerife is wonderful to explore, offering very diverse landscapes. Walk around the harbour wall, admiring the many yachts, or from there take the lovely promenade walk around the headland to Fanabe beach, past all the luxury hotels and on as far as the little fishing village of La Caleta.

• Every Thursday & Saturday there is a large, very popular market held nearby at Fanabe

• SIAM PARK is now open and only 15mins walk from Los Geranios

• Numerous excursions available - visit the incredible Mount Teide (the highest mountain in Spain), fabulous whale and dolphin boat trips are available from Puerto Colon harbour, have a day out in either Santa Cruz or Puerto de la Cruz in the lush north  of the island.

• Also don’t miss the short trip to Jungle Park - this is high in the hills behind Los Cristianos and has free flying birds of prey displays, parrot show, jungle walk and much more.
  

• Free buses take you there from various points.

• Take the path along Geranium Walk into Las Americas and onwards to Los Cristianos. . It is from the harbour here that there are daily ferry services to La Gomera and other islands.
